We are delighted to have the following opportunity in our Quality Improvement, Risk and Compliance (QIRC) team.   We are excited to be looking for a Senior Data Protection Officerand would love it if you could join us on our future journey.   The Senior Data Protection Officer (Senior DPO) provides comprehensive data protection compliance support to colleagues across the organisation, maintains internal General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) infrastructure and benchmarks this against GDPR, liaises as appropriate with the Information Commissioner’s Office. The Senior DPO takes ownership for data protection related policies and procedures, particularly those needed to support our regulatory assurances. The role is supported by the Regulations Manager who additionally serves as a part time Data Protection Administrator.   The Senior DPO’s responsibilities include advising on our compliance with GDPR and local data protection laws, monitoring our adherence to GDPR and acting as a main point of contact with supervisory authorities and data subjects. The Senior DPO will also create policies that facilitate compliance with GDPR and deliver periodic training to our staff to increase awareness of data protection matters.   This post would be particularly suited to someone experienced in working with regulators and interpreting regulatory frameworks. They will act as an important link between our customers and the Customer Compliance and Investigation team ensuring that meetings are organised, emails and enquiries are responded to and accurate records are retained. In addition, they will take a key role in the organisation and allocation of the teams’ workload and maintenance of the teams Quality Management System. Where issues are identified the Customer Compliance & Investigations (CC&I) team will undertake a review to determine the facts which may lead to a formal investigation.  CC&I team will work with the centre to put things right and ensure the learner experience, along with our reputation, is not put at risk. We are looking for someone with excellent administrative and organisational skills, who is confident talking to customers with the ability to work proactively and flexibly across changing tasks. You will have good planning skills and be diligent in keeping accurate records. Our EPA Development Officers ensure excellent customer service and first-class delivery of End-Point Assessment across all standards within the portfolio, working to allow apprentices the opportunity to achieve the career they want.   The key duties of our EPA Development Officers include:   - Designing and developing valid, robust, and reliable assessments for apprentices - End-to-end project management of developments, ensuring they are delivered on time and considering budget efficiencies - Ensuring all processes and procedures are adhered to in line with developments and that Assessment Plans are followed - Bringing strong attention to detail to ensure the highest quality of the products being developed - Ensuring compliance of all regulatory conditions relating to End-Point Assessment   To be successful in this role, we are looking for an individual with knowledge of current developments in education and assessment, knowledge of quality assurance procedures and issues within an education context, and knowledge of apprenticeship reform and End-Point Assessment.
