About the role

 

We're looking for experienced External Quality Assurers (EQAs) with expertise in Digital qualifications to support our growing portfolio across Software Development, Cyber Security and Data qualifications from Level 2 to Level 5. 

 

This is an exciting opportunity for professionals with a background in quality assurance, assessment, education or training who are passionate about maintaining high standards of learning, assessment and regulatory compliance. 

 

As an External Quality Assurer, you'll work with training providers and centres to ensure qualifications are delivered, assessed and quality assured in line with NCFE requirements, regulatory standards and best practiceYou'll support continuous improvement, provide expert guidance and help drive outstanding learner outcomes. 

 

Whilst this is a flexible worker role, during the period of allocated work we require availability between the hours of 9am – 5pm, Monday – Friday to be able to carry out reviews. Please make sure you can commit to this before applying.

 

How you'll make an impact: 

  • Conducting external quality assurance reviews and completing accurate reports within agreed service level agreements (SLAs) 
  • Reviewing centre performance, assessment decisions and quality assurance processes 
  • Monitoring compliance against awarding organisation and regulatory requirements 
  • Identifying risks, non-compliance and development needs, creating clear improvement action plans 
  • Providing advice, support and guidance to centres to improve quality, consistency and effectiveness 
  • Analysing evidence, performance data and quality indicators to support risk-based decision making 
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation within CRM systems 
  • Working collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders 
  • Supporting standardisation activities and sharing quality assurance best practice 
  • Helping ensure a positive customer experience for centres and learners

We'd love to hear from you if you offer the following: 

  • A recognised Assessor qualification (e.g. CAVA, TAQA) 
  • A recognised Internal Quality Assurance qualification  
  • Minimum Level 3 qualification within a Digital discipline, including: Software Development, Cyber Security, Data Analytics, Digital Technologies 
  • Occupational expertise gained through industry experience and/or qualifications 
  • Knowledge of assessment and quality assurance principles 
  • Strong report writing and evidence evaluation skills 
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills 
  • Understanding of current developments in digital education, assessment and technology 
  • Ability to analyse data, assess risk and make evidence-based quality decisions 
  • Willingness to travel within your allocated region when required
