About the role

We’re looking for an Independent End Point Assessor (IEPA) to join our End Point Assessment team, supporting the Oral Health Practitioner (Level 4) standard.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in shaping the future workforce by assessing apprentices at the final stage of their journey. You’ll use your professional expertise to evaluate performance, ensure high standards, and help learners achieve their full potential.

This is a fantastic opportunity to utilise your clinical experience in a flexible role while contributing to the development of the next generation of oral health professionals.

We’ll also support you whilst you work towards an Assessor qualification.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Deliver End Point Assessment in line with the Oral Health Practitioner Level 4 standard
  • Use the NCFE EPA platform to manage assessments and engage with apprentices
  • Ensure consistency and quality by attending standardisation activities
  • Communicate effectively with apprentices, training providers, and employers regarding EPA processes and grading
  • Produce clear, professional assessment reports

We’d love to hear from you if you offer the following:

  • A recognised Assessor qualification (A1, CAVA, or equivalent)
  • Current General Dental Council (GDC) registration
  • Recent clinical competency in practice, at level 4 or above, within the last two years or significant industry experience.
  • Excellent written skills with the ability to produce clear, accurate reports
  • A driving licence and flexibility to travel across the UK
