This is a hybrid working role, so you’ll need to be able to work from our Head Office twice a week

About the role

We’re excited to be looking for a Resilience Manager to join our Audit, Risk and Assurance team to develop and implement a robust organisational resilience framework, encompassing risk management, assurance, and business continuity.

You’ll provide clear insight and guidance to the leadership team, ensuring risks are understood, managed, and aligned with strategic priorities. By embedding standards, quality, and assurance principles, you’ll support the organisation in achieving it's objectives. The role requires a collaborative, accountable, and evidence-driven approach to safeguard compliance, strengthen resilience, and deliver lasting organisational improvement.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Driving continuous improvement through assurance activities, conducting scenario analysis, aligning practices with regulatory requirements and industry best practice, and building resilience into core business processes
  • Leading investigations and post-incident reviews, identifying root causes, implementing corrective actions, and using insights from incident data and trends to inform future planning and mitigate recurrence
  • Maintaining and regularly testing contingency, recovery, and business continuity plans, ensuring they reflect organisational priorities and external dependencies, and lead scenario exercises with senior leaders and stakeholders to validate readiness and strengthen response capability
  • Identifying and closing systemic resilience gaps, embedding lessons learned from testing and live incidents into future planning to enhance preparedness for emerging risks and ensure operational continuity
  • Providing high-quality risk and assurance reporting to senior leadership, offering strategic advice on emerging risks, demonstrating control effectiveness to regulators and auditors, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while enabling the achievement of strategic objectives

We’d love to hear from you if you offer the following:

  • Proven leadership and people management experience
  • Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to balance strategic priorities and operational delivery
  • Significant experience in risk management, assurance or governance roles (ideally in a regulated environment)
  • Knowledge of incident management, business continuity and resilience frameworks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build strong collaborative relationships
  • Experience in streamlining or simplifying risk and assurance processes to improve efficiency
  • High levels of accountability, integrity and transparency in decision-making.
  • Experience in coordinating multi-stakeholder projects and responding to high-pressure situations, including acting as Incident Manager
