About the role

 

We’re excited to be looking for a Training Facilitator to join our External Quality Assurance team on a flexible worker contract. 

 

The subject areas we are looking are:

 

  • Engineering
  • Music Technology
  • Health & Social Care
  • Business
  • Sport
  • Food & Cookery 

You'll join our existing training team who designs and delivers external customer training to support with the assessment, Internal Quality Assurance and Moderation processes required when delivering NCFE VCert qualifications.

 

This role will give you the opportunity to work with our team of external quality assurers and to directly support our customers delivering NCFE VCert qualifications.

 

How you'll make an impact : 

  • Designing and delivering subject-specific training, both online and in person, tailored to centre, NCFE and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure training is compliant, well-communicated, and delivered on time and within budget
  • Maintaining high standards of customer service, using feedback to improve individual and team performance
  • Supporting and embedding business change through teamwork, problem-solving, and continuous improvement
  • Planning and deliver training proactively, contribute to team meetings, and demonstrate ongoing CPD and best practice sharing

We'd love to hear from you if you offer the following: 

  • Prior experience in the relevant sector area
  • Hold or be working towards a teaching qualification (desirable) and be a subject expert qualified to at least Level 3 (essential), with experience in teaching, assessing or quality assurance
  • Proven experience in educational delivery, including online training, with the ability to adapt to varied learning styles and demonstrate subject knowledge at the appropriate level
  • Strong communication, IT (Microsoft Suite), and organisational skills are essential, along with self-motivation and professionalism
  • Must hold a current DBS and be flexible to travel; availability to commit days per week/year should be specified 
  • Two references required; include details of previous roles, qualifications, other NCFE or AO commitments, and any experience in people management or conflict resolution (desirable)
