Contract: Fixed term 9 months

Location: Hybrid (Head Office: Q6, Quorum Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne 

This is a hybrid working role, so you’ll need to be able to work from our Head Office one day a week

Hours per week: 22.2 

Salary: £16,873.20 pro rata (FTE £28,122)

 

About the role

 

We’re excited to be looking for a Graphic Designer to join our Brand, Partnerships and Communications team.


In this role, you’ll create compelling and informative artwork that will enhance our Active IQ marketing and communications collateral, raising brand awareness and recognition.


You’ll be part of a small in-house studio, tasked with creating designs that communicate ideas to inspire, inform and captivate our audience. You’ll work closely to support the marketing campaign and digital content and PR and communication teams with a variety of design requirements.


How you’ll make an impact:

  • Create impactful visual content for our Active IQ brand, working across all channels including; print and digital marketing materials, social media and advertising campaigns, infographics and data visualisation, email templates and newsletters, corporate documention and presentation materials, promotional merchandise designs
  • Collaborate with marketing, communications and the wider business to ensure consistent and visual identity across all platforms
  • Develop the NCFE and Active IQ brands through innovative creative ideas and solutions
  • Maintain a planned work schedule and communicate effectively across the team to manage work requests and update on job progress through to completion using our work flow management tool Monday.com

We’d love to hear from you if you offer the following:

  • Experience in working as a graphic designer within an agency or as part of an in-house design team
  • Degree in graphic design or equivalent level
  • High level of proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite – particularly in Design and Illustrator
  • Experience of managing design briefs through to completion
  • A strong portfolio which showcases your creative flair and a demonstrable understanding of graphic design fundamentals
