Location: Hybrid / Quorum Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne 

This is a hybrid working role, so you’ll need to be able to work from our Head Office on a Tuesday, this is subject to change and working requirements.

Hours per week: 37

Salary: Up to £24,800, depending on experience 

 

About the role

 

We’re excited to be looking for a Credit Control Finance Assistant to join our Finance team.

 

You'll work alongside our current Credit Control Finance Assistant with the support and direction of the Senior Credit Controller and be part of the Transactional Finance Team. Your responsibilities range from risk assessment prior to becoming a customer to unpaid invoicing when it arises. Efficient credit control management plays an integral part in the day to day operations of our business.

 

This role will give you exposure to all areas of the business from finance to customer support, account management and quality assurance, therefore providing you with all-round knowledge of a fast-paced transactional team actively encouraging a collaborative working environment.

 

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Experience of working in a finance environment
  • Chasing and recovering outstanding debt, in line with debt collection processes.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service to all NCFE customers, both internal and external customers
  • Daily reconciliation of banking including reviewing unallocated cash
  • Dealing with finance queries from internal and external customers within NCFE’s SLAs – via email and telephone.
  • Providing support to the Finance team with other finance-related duties
