Contract: Fixed Term 12 Months 

Location: Hybrid / Quorum Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne 

This is a hybrid working role, so you’ll need to be able to work from our Head Office twice a week

Hours per week: 37

Salary: Up to £44,364, depending on experience

 

About the role

We’re excited to be looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to join our Assessment Delivery team.

 

This is a key management role within a critical team, overseeing the accurate and timely release of external assessment results.

 

You’ll be accountable for leading sub-teams to meet external deadlines, ensuring NCFE remain operationally compliant, supporting the delivery or major programmes of work. 

 

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Providing operational leadership within the Assessment Delivery team
  • Creating, managing, and delivering on key policies and processes
  • Leading on management of risk identification and mitigation approaches
  • Contributing to wider strategic planning and goals

We’d love to hear from you if you offer the following:

  • Experience of working in a regulated environment
  • Knowledge of the key principles of assessment, and experience working with externally set and marked assessments
  • Experience leading a large operational team
  • Experience of implementing operational change, and internal quality assurance principles
  • Exceptional planning skills, with experience in delivering to immovable deadlines
  • Confident communication and the ability to clearly communicate complex ideas to a range of audiences.
