    Salary: up to £40,000 based on experience

    We are delighted to have the following opportunity in our Assessment Design Team  


    We are excited to be looking for an Assessment Design Manager and would love it if you come and join us on our future journey.


    This role will be responsible for managing the Lead Assessment Developers and Assessment Subject Specialists Officers and is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day live design and development of NCFE assessment strategies and specifications.  The roles is accountable for appropriate forecasting to ensure staff and worker levels are in line with business requirements.  The role involves working with subject specialists and the team and ensuing that assessment strategies and associated sample assessments and mark schemes (SAMs) are designed in accordance with established processes and procedures, are of high quality, compliant, error free and successfully progress through technical evaluation, bid or regulation processes.

    The Assessment Design team is responsible setting the overall direction for the assessment approaches for NCFE’s qualifications including associated brands and is accountable for chosen methods of assessment, assessment strategies, specifications and associated sample assessments and mark schemes.
