    A bit about the job…

    The Quality Assurance team is responsible for managing and maintaining the integrity of the assessment processes of all NCFE and CACHE qualifications, both in-house and at our approved centres.

    Reporting to the QA Manager (Customer Compliance and Investigations), the Customer Compliance Officer is responsible for the centre investigations process and for ensuring any issues are resolved in line with the relevant processes and policies.

    The role is responsible for ensuring fact find investigations are completed and issues are escalated where necessary. The role helps in the identification and resolution of poor performance, maladministration and malpractice by providing advisory support, action plans, sanctions and corrective measures to customers.

    The post holder will conduct initial fact finds and investigations and will lead on more serious or complicated cases where escalation is necessary. The post holder will also ensure appropriate monitoring is in place and follow up the implementation of corrective action plans with centres.

    Finally, the post holder will be required to supply information to the Compliance team where regulatory breaches have occurred or may occur and provide centre profiles and supporting recommendations where termination of centre agreements may be required due to a breach in the Centre Agreement or for commercial purposes.

    • Demonstrable word processing, spreadsheet and email skills
    • Analytical skills
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work with diverse personality types
    • Excellent letter and report writing skills
    • Negotiation and influencing skills
    • Planning and organising skills
    • Educated to at least level 3 or significant experience of carrying out a similar role
    • Level 2 in English
    • Significant experience carrying out a similar role
