    Permanent Contract

    Location: Mansfield

    Hours: 37 Hours per week

    Salary: Upto £35,000

    A bit about the job…

    Skills Forward is in a great position to expand the development team to help redesign the core platform behind the products and deliver a better user experience. We need your programming skills to help make the platform the best in the market; working with UI/UX developers to implement new designs, allow for future scalability and to guide the company into the future with a solid infrastructure.


    What will you be doing?


    • Working closely with UI/UX developers to support them with the data they need
    • Improving the speed and scalability of the platform
    • Changing backend technologies
    • Creating integrations with 3rd party API’s
    • Creating new dynamic controls to be used throughout the platform
    • Writing and improving database queries and structures

    Essential Skills


    • PHP
    • SQL 

    Desirable Skills


    • RESTful API
    • Knowledge of Amazon Web Services
    • CSS/HTML/JavaScript
    • .NET
