Job description

 

NCFE, one of the UK’s fastest growing, most innovative qualification awarding organisations, is looking for an Assessment Officer (EPA).

 

The NCFE Apprenticeship Assessment Services department is the team responsible for our End Point Assessment (EPA) offer and the EPA Assessment Officer is responsible for the design and development of external assessments.

 

A bit about the job…

The EPA Assessment Officer will be responsible for the design, development, and performance of valid and reliable assessments within NCFE’s Apprenticeship Services Team.

 

You will ensure that assessments developed by the Apprenticeship Services brand are appealing to Apprentices, Employers and Independent Training Providers and are manageable for those delivering the end point assessments.

The Assessment Officer will contribute to ensuring compliance with all regulatory conditions relating to End Point Assessment.

 

A bit about you…

Skills & Knowledge

  • Experience of assessment and curriculum design principles
  • Knowledge of current developments in education and assessment
  • Knowledge of quality assurance procedures and issues within an education context
  • Track record working with Awarding Organisations which offer external assessment
  • Knowledge of apprenticeship reform and end point assessment
  • Educated to at least Level 3 standard or equivalent
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including good grammar and spelling
  • Demonstrable word processing, data entry, spreadsheet and email
