1 x Permanent

1 x Fixed Term Contract – approx. 12 Months Maternity Cover

Newcastle (37 hours per week)

Salary -  £31,250 - £38,253 per annum


Job Description


The Product Development team identifies which products we will develop and then develops, evaluates and re-develops them within our priority markets and industry sectors, making sure that what we do is in line with our business goals, regulatory compliance and educational policy landscape.


A bit about the job…

As a Qualification Development Manager you will develop a successful portfolio of products and services, with the support of your team, in line with the portfolio plan, value proposition for the market, business objectives and regulatory requirements. You will project manage the end to end process of developing qualifications and work cross functionally to ensure that they are market leading, delivered on time and in budget. You will maintain expertise and knowledge of the education landscape to identify new opportunities. You will also identify implications from the policy and sector intelligence you gather to inform the evaluation, maintenance and ongoing compliance of existing products.

You will have experience of qualification development and excellent project management skills to thrive in this role. With line management experience you will lead, coach and develop your team and also manage contractors. With strong relationships, negotiation and influencing skills you will work well cross functionally to successfully launch products.
